Islam vs Christianity vs Judaism; Islam is the winner – fuhrer2u ( READ DESCRIPTION )
We’ve included some information on each page for your reading. Jews, What is the Jewish perspective on the end of time?
I was just wondering if Judaism had any particular belief or idea about the end of time/apocolypse/end of the world, If so what are they? And are there any books or websites that you could recommend about this topic (as well as Tanakh references) Any help is greatly appreciated, thankyou.
The Torah teaches us about a time period of time (hopefully soon) that will be the end-of -this-world. It will be the beginning of a new era called the messianic age, where peace and prosperity will be everywhere. This will be a universal peace, regardless of what religion you have.
I guess you could sum up the difference between a Christian point-of-view and a Jewish point-of-view in this sentence; Something terrible is going to happen versus Something wonderful is going to happen.

The timely topic of today is...the future. For many, the outlook is gloomy. But according to David Brickner, Executive Director of Jews for Jesus, Christians can offer a message of a future and a hope. Future Hope Takes a look at biblical prophecies and offers insight into God's prophetic timeline. The book's easy-to-read format, helpful charts and appendices, and evangelistic bent make it appropriate for the scholar, the new believer, and the seeker.
Curious about all of the different "end of the world" theories out there today? How about different religious views or even how Hollywood looks at how we might end? In his 1989 book "The Time Illusion," Dennis predicted incredible new developments; science is now providing them. In this new book, he provides the detail of how time travel is possible. The same hypothesis explains many of the problems confronting science today, such as Dark Matter and Energy, but raises a new question. Have we been ignoring scientific proof of the existence of God?
In the ultimate compliment to C.S. Lewis, S.R. Moore has written a Lewis-esque, Screwtape Letters, approach to the end times. While in the original Letters, the demon Screwtape instructs his nephew Wormwood on the how’s of preventing a person from coming to faith. In this fascinating new series, while not strictly following the genre, Screwtape now mentors his latest underling, Ichabod, on keeping people clueless and the church ineffective in these, the Last Days. Ironically, Screwtape uses the last book of the Bible, John’s Apocalypse of Revelation, for his instruction manual in hopes of securing victory for the underworld. No doubt, the reader will enjoy S.R.'s many profound insights to the beautiful sacred Text that he is so well known for, derived over the years from his integrated love of the original biblical languages and literature, insights you will not be exposed to elsewhere, that so many other writings leave left behind. Letters that will illumine, amaze and that you will enjoy. ABOUT THE AUTHORS.R. was a prodigal atheist, altogether hostile to God. While backpacking high in the mountains above tree-line, in the predawn hours, as light began to pierce the darkness, the Spirit overwhelmed him with the beauty of God. S.R. was to eventually walk away from a successful business career traveling the globe, to enter seminary so as to study the beautiful sacred text in the original languages, thinking there was much more to be mined. Upon graduation, he pastored a small congregation at the foot of the Rockies. He now teaches in churches and the business community, as well as having guest lectured at the seminary. S.R. has an incredible wife and three incredible kids.SECOND IN THE SERIESNow just out on Kindle, Letters 4-8 in the series. The fascination grows with an even more profound set of letters examining the Abyss' Rich History of Warfare Culminating in the arrival of the Antichrist.http://www.amazon.com/Screwtape-Times-Antichrist-Letters-ebook/dp/B0036OSAA4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=books&qid=1274990493&sr=8-2
The vision of the millennium in the Book of Revelation is not intended to offer comfort to Christians in a time of persecution, but to serve as a warning to them not to be too ready to participate in the life of their heathen environment, for such participation is not possible without contact with the cult of heathen gods. However, he who is contaminated by the heathen cult will not be part of the "Resurrection" and the "Thousand Year Reign" but at the Last Judgement will suffer the "Second Death" in the "pit of fire and sulphur".
This is a commentary on the book of Revelations (Predictions related to the End of the World and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ) based on the Orthodox Doctrine and observation of world events in the last 25 years.

Tjhis is a book of Bible prophecy about the coming Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus. I have selected scriptures from the books of Revelation, Daniel and Zechariah as well as other New Testament passages. I for one do not think our churches represent what the Millennnial reign of Christ will be like. I see Jesus' kingdom doing more for the poor, disabled, elderly and orphans. I see Aemrica's Chrsitianity as being highly misguided.
Is Britain prepared to defend itself, or only to play a part in Armageddon? Examining recently released British government documents, this study presents a moral history of British defense policy. Roger Ruston analyzes government rationales for Britain's dependence on weapons of mass destruction, especially nuclear weapons, arguing they are often essentially rationalizations for unstoppable political programs divorced from defense needs and morality.

Purchase one of 1st World Library's Classic Books and help support our free internet library of downloadable eBooks. Visit us online at www.1stWorldLibrary.ORG - - The writer has attempted in this volume to take up a few of the most characteristic points in Jewish doctrine and practice, and to explain some of the various phases through which they have passed, since the first centuries of the Christian era. The presentation is probably much less detached than is the case with other volumes in this series. But the difference was scarcely avoidable. The writer was not expounding a religious system which has no relation to his own life. On the contrary, the writer is himself a Jew, and thus is deeply concerned personally in the matters discussed in the book.
